This latest adjudication is a reminder that electric cars (especially those with a 'range extender' which burns fossil fuels) don't 'give back' to the environment... in case you weren't aware....
And more importantly it's a reminder to all advertisers/brands that they are likely to be held responsible for claims made by consumers or social media followers when those claims are 'adopted and incorporated' (i.e. re-used) by the advertiser/brand.

The Facebook post in May contained a video including the voice-over: "Having driven petrol-guzzling cars before, I realised that it is now time to switch to an electric car. "With zero emissions, the i3 really is a clean car and helps to give back to the environment."
